I'm sure most of you have seen the news about the groups of traditional Anglicans who are looking at the possibility of coming home to the Catholic Church. Of course, we probably won't see any response to this until after the Anglicans have their Lambeth conference. We need to continue to pray for all of those involved. Our Holy Father and the members of the Curia who will be part of the process, the members of the Anglican communion who are looking to "swim the Tiber", and the Catholics who will be affected by any such move. We need to continue our prayer for unity.

Dear Fr. Leo; I see that you are now the resident Priest in Fort Benton where my mother Bernadine Dostal, sister Cecilia and brother Mike all like and attend church. I came accross your blog by way of my Secular Franciscan homepage and read an article about when you left for Chaplain duty. My husband Tony and I (Kathy) both work for the VA hospital at Ft. Harrison, Helena, MT, so thought I would just say hi and note that I like the dog. He looks a lot like our Humphrey. Yours looks like a Great Pryness but ours is Akbash, some kind of Turkish guard dog we rescued from the pound. I look forward to meeting you the next time I am down to Ft. Benton to visit Mom and all. Sincerely,
Kathryn Poelman, SFO
ps our daughter Alma is the one who joined the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, MI Her name is now Sr. Maria Jerome
